Schoolwork today.

Isolation Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our second school day, after being in isolation for three weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read a book and answer the questions using a site called actively learn we also had to choose a book and try to explain what we thought the theme or morale was for that book, I chose to do harry potter and my theme or morale was to do what is right not what is easy.
For our numeracy work, we had to measure how long a two dollar coin is, then measure how long a ten-dollar note is and see how many times they fit into two meters and see which one has the most money. the other maths task was to measure around the edge of our garden then add all of the measurements up and that is your perimeter. you may also be wondering why we used the measurement of two meters, this is simply because two meters is the distance we must have between each other to be legally able to talk to each other or be near anyone at all, this is because of coronavirus or COVID-19 and the fact that this virus spreads simply and easily which that is the whole reason that we can't go to school at all and why we had to communicate with our teachers and classmates using google chat in the first place.
Anyway here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top one is literacy and the bottom two are numeracy.

  1. Hey Henry, wow!! You have been completing some amazing work. I love how much you have written in your blog because it tells me exactly what you have been up to. I particularly love your literacy work about doing what is right, not what is easy. I love Harry Potter and think it was a perfect choice for that theme. Keep up the awesome work! Caitlin :)
