Fri-Yay in lock-down

Fri-yay in Lock-down

Hello fellow Bloggers.

Today in lockdown was the greatest day of the week Friday,  Friday is the day that we are asked to dress up in something absurd like wearing your clothes back to front or dressing up as Pikachu.
Another great thing about Friday is that we have the option to choose between two of six tasks about Anzac day, or other things like creating sayings with emojis or making lanterns out of milk bottles.
Another great thing about Friday is that we don't have to do our usual literacy and numeracy work.
And another amazing thing about just this Friday, in particular, is that because it is Anzac day soon we get Monday and Tuesday off school.
We don't have to go to school because of COVID-19 but we still have to do the school work that is sent to us.
we communicate with our teachers and classmates using google meet.
It is sad that Anzac day had to be in the middle of our lockdown.
here is my work I did a picture and a comic strip:

Schoolwork- Lock-down day seven

Lockdown Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in Lockdown was our seventh school day, after being in isolation for four weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read the first few chapters of a book called hitchhikers guide to the galaxy and also write a few paragraphs on a day we couldn't get ahold of This is what I wrote if you can't see it clearly:

One day that I couldn't get a hold of was a day was truly a real catastrophe for me and my whole family. The day began when I was late for tech, whIch I am usually on time because my dad has an alarm clock that wakes me up at the rIght tIme. But for some reason, hIs alarm clock dIdn't work so I was late. on my way to school, I saw the bus go past so I knew I had just mIssed It by a matter of seconds,.

The day after that just got worse because the rest of my family were also late for school and my parents were late for work. I had to do a test on paper because I was late for tech and couldn't go wIth the other group. The test asked me to do three, three hundred word storIes descrIbIng stuff lIke why I liked oranges more than apples and stuff lIke that for no reason at all. And when the other group I was meant to go wIth came back they had made lots of food and other stuff that made me jealous that I mIssed tech.

And when I got home It seemed that everyone else In my family had also had a bad day but they dIdn't want to talk about It. And thIs really was a weird day that even If I try to think about It now It's just Is hard to explain. In Fact, I just can't get a hold of It.

For our numeracy work, we had to work with decimals and measurement on a website called Matific, we also used Kahn academy.
Here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top one is literacy and the bottom one is numeracy.

Schoolwork-lock-down school day 6

Isolation Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our sixth school day, after being in isolation for four weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read the first few chapters of a book called hitchhikers guide to the galaxy and also right a few paragraphs on what we would do on the last day on earth.
For our numeracy work, we had to pretend we had an irrigation system and fill an a4 piece of paper with different sized bits of paper to represent sprinklers then add up the cost I got $180.
Here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top one is literacy and the bottom one is numeracy.

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our fifth school day, after being in isolation for four weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to make our own evil scientist and add our own features we thought he would have we also had to make a sundial using paper and sellotape.
For our numeracy work, we had to measure the diameter of circular objects then find the radius and see if it equals the same if timesed by pi.

Isolation Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our fourth school day, after being in isolation for four weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read a book and answer the questions using a site called actively learn we also had to make a scratch animation with a person and an animal talking and to add what we thought we would say if we came across a talking animal using dialogue and themes.
For our numeracy work, we had to make a scratch animation on the areas of a circle diameter, circumference, chord, etc and we also had to make a picture that used circles.
Here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top one is literacy and the bottom two are numeracy.

Isolation Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our third school day, after being in isolation for three weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read a book and answer the questions using a site called actively learn we also had to make an animation with a person and an animal talking and to add what we thought we would say if we came across a talking animal.
For our numeracy work, we had to see how far we could jump, how high we could jump, the highest thing we could touch and the longest paper plane throw, we did this by using estimates.

Schoolwork today.

Isolation Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our second school day, after being in isolation for three weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read a book and answer the questions using a site called actively learn we also had to choose a book and try to explain what we thought the theme or morale was for that book, I chose to do harry potter and my theme or morale was to do what is right not what is easy.
For our numeracy work, we had to measure how long a two dollar coin is, then measure how long a ten-dollar note is and see how many times they fit into two meters and see which one has the most money. the other maths task was to measure around the edge of our garden then add all of the measurements up and that is your perimeter. you may also be wondering why we used the measurement of two meters, this is simply because two meters is the distance we must have between each other to be legally able to talk to each other or be near anyone at all, this is because of coronavirus or COVID-19 and the fact that this virus spreads simply and easily which that is the whole reason that we can't go to school at all and why we had to communicate with our teachers and classmates using google chat in the first place.
Anyway here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top one is literacy and the bottom two are numeracy.

Isolation school work

Isolation Schoolwork

Hello fellow bloggers.

Today in isolation was our first school day, after being in isolation for three weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we made a timetable that will help me keep track of the times we do schoolwork, the things we needed to include on this were our literacy and numeracy tasks as well as our sessions with the teacher, our blog posts and comments as well as going out for a walk and helping around the house.
For our numeracy work, we had to work out maths equations like how many times you can fit measurements like 35 cm or 19 cm into measurements like 2 meters, we also had to make estimates on how long we thought a meter is by guessing, and then we had to come up with our own items around our house that we could use to add up to two meters. you may also be wondering why we used the measurement of two meters, this is simply because two meters is the distance we must have between each other to be legally able to talk to each other or be near anyone at all, this is because of coronavirus or COVID-19 and the fact that this virus spreads simply and easily which that is the whole reason that we can't go to school at all and why we had to communicate with our teachers and classmates using google chat in the first place.
Anyway here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top one is literacy and the bottom one is numeracy.
