Lockdown Schoolwork
Hello fellow bloggers.
Today in Lockdown was our sixth week, after being in isolation for four weeks including the holidays. The way we communicated with our teachers and each other well in isolation was using a website called google chat. We were asked to complete our usual literacy and numeracy work, for literacy we had to read a few chapters of a book called hitchhikers to guide to the galaxy and also write a few paragraphs on the probable, improbable and the impossible. For our numeracy work, we looked at prism shapes and how to get the areas by using equations like width times hight times depth. Here is the work that we have been asked to do (both literacy and numeracy) the top two are literacy and the bottom two are numeracy.
Overall I think my work is good but needs some improvement.

Hey Henry, nice work! How are you finding The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy so far? You're right, winning the lottery isn't impossible, but with the number of people that entered that lottory being in the hundreds or thousands, it was definitely improbable. How lucky!! Great maths work too. You said that you think your work is good, but that it needs some improvement. What do you think you would improve? I think it would be great if you didn't write your whole blog in caps lock, I find it quite hard to read. Remember to proofread before you post as well, checking for spelling errors and capital letters. Keep up the good work. Caitlin :)
ReplyDeleteHey Henry, your work during the lockdown, particularly in maths has been amazing. I have been impressed with your focus and dedication to learning. How are you finding Hitchhiker's Guide? I really enjoyed the book, although it was very confusing in parts- the characters are most amusing.Jus check the riddle, the answer should have been AN Antique LOL
