This is Just to Say

Poetry- This is Just to Say

Hello fellow Bloggers, Today our literacy teacher asked us to do a Parody with William Carlos Williams, The one at the top is his and the one at the bottom is mine with some of the describing words changed.

This is just to say
By William Carlos Williams
I have eaten
The plums
That were in
the icebox

And which
you were
Probably
Saving for
breakfast
Forgive me
They were
So delicious
So sweet
And so cold
This is just to say
By Henry Robertson
I have consumed
The meat
That was in
the fridge

And which
you were
Probably
saving for
dinner
Forgive me
It was
So tasty
So tender

And so cold
