Reflection on Cell phones in the classroom debate

this week we worked on how to debate and a common topic was chosen, cell phones and how they affect the classroom.  

POSITIVES

• strong ideas were gathered 
• some members spoke with a strong/confident voice

NEGATIVES

• some speakers were not so high in confidence
• more facts need to be in the speeches        

OPINION 

I Believe that cell phones should not be part of the classroom as they are a distraction and limit learning time. Here are some reasons, why to believe this:

 1) They can get in the way and distract students 2) They can go on social media and could talk to anyone! 3) Who knows what the kids could be doing on them they could search for anything.
